Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Docopilot, we want you to be satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued for paid subscriptions.

2. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your paid plan features until the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing cycle.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be granted under the following circumstances:

  • First-time subscribers — If you request a refund within 7 days of your first paid subscription and have not extensively used the AI generation features, we will issue a full refund.
  • Service outage — If Docopilot experiences extended downtime (more than 48 hours in a billing cycle) that materially affects your use, you may request a pro-rated refund for the affected period.
  • Billing errors — If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charges, wrong plan amount), we will promptly issue a correction and refund.

4. Non-Refundable Items

  • AI query overage charges for queries already processed
  • Subscriptions active for more than 7 days (for first-time refund requests)
  • Renewals where cancellation was not submitted before the billing date

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at billing@docopilot.app with your account email and reason for the request. We will respond within 3 business days.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. The exact timing depends on your bank or payment provider. Refunds are issued in Indian Rupees (INR).

7. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable Indian laws. For disputes, the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
