Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Docopilot (“the Service”), operated by Docopilot Technologies, India, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Docopilot is an AI-powered documentation platform that connects to your code repositories, generates documentation, and keeps it updated automatically. The Service includes the web application, APIs, and AI agents (Genesis, Pilot, and Sentinel).

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract our AI models
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Upload malicious code or content through connected repositories
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written consent
  • Exceed rate limits or abuse API access

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your code and generated documentation. Docopilot retains all rights to the Service, its AI models, software, and brand assets. You grant us a limited licence to process your repository data solely for providing the Service.

6. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in Indian Rupees (INR). Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on each billing cycle. Failed payments may result in service suspension after a 7-day grace period.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Docopilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it will be permanently deleted.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
